Sizes: Head circumference 20” - 23”

H/8 5.0mm Hook Gauge = 12 DC per 4 inches 20”-23” circumference

G/6 4mm Hook - for Holly leaves and berries

Stitches used: Magic Ring, CH, SC, DC, Invisible SS, CSDC (Chainless Starting DC), Decrease, Increase, Pico St. You would need to know how to follow a detailed pattern and do exactly as it says. Instructions for the Magic Ring, Chainless Starting DC, are included in the pattern. These instructions can also be searched online if you aren’t familiar with them and you need to see a video. There are also a lot of instructional photos included to help.

Worsted Weight #4 Yarn: Hobby Lobby Crafter’s Secret BIG Idea used in hats shown in photos, but other yarns of the same weight can be used.

This youth/adult hat will fit most. Different sized yarns and hooks will give varying sizes, so head measurements are recommended with this pattern. Even the slightest difference in yarn can give varying results.
