I 9/5.5mm Hook Gauge = 15sc per 4 inches 21-22” circumference
J 10/6mm Hook Gauge = 13sc per 4 inches 23” circumference

Stitches used: Magic Ring, CH, SC, DC, HDC, Invisible SS, FPDC, CSDC (Chainless Starting DC), Decrease, Increase, Pico St. You would need to know how to follow a detailed pattern and do exactly as it says. Instructions for the Magic Ring, Chainless Starting DC, Front Post and Front Loop decrease are all included in the pattern. These instructions can also be searched online if you aren’t familiar with them and you need to see a video. There are lots of ‘how to’ instructional photos included in the pattern.

Worsted Weight #4 Yarn: Lion Brand Pound of Love yarn, Yardage: 160-170 yds depending on the yarn and hook used

This adult hat will fit most. Different sized yarns and hooks will give varying sizes, so head measurements are recommended with this pattern. Even the slightest difference in yarn can give varying results. It is so worth making this pattern because it looks GREAT when worn. It has a nice Pico edge that doesn’t hide the vision of the person wearing it and fits comfortably over the ears, if desired, for warmth.
