Ornament made for an exchange at KnitNPurl, my LYS.
Had to also include the pattern, so here is a very basic, easy design to knit.
It measures about 4” wide x 2” high, not including handle.
I used small amounts of Cherub for the bag and some red worsted with glitter for the handle. Whatever you have in holiday colors will work, you don’t need much. Also some small amounts of any yarns to make little balls.
I used toothpicks painted red (nail polish works well) added beads to the ends and sewed some beads along the joinings of the handle. Embellish however it looks best to you. Add a little piece of ribbon at the top of the handle for hanging and enjoy!
