Christmas Love Hearts
This is another of what I call my stash-busters. A little pattern for using up odds and ends of wool.
Similar to my Little Christmas Trees, the hearts are knitted on two needles, with just a little sewing up.
The pattern contains instructions for 3 different sizes of hearts, as Christmas Trees come in different sizes after all.
The Christmas Love Hearts have lots of options, and that I think is part of the fun. I have embroidered in wool on some of mine, and within the pattern there is a link to my blog, where I have some photo tutorials on embroidery if this is new to you.
I have also included a Fair Isle design for the medium and large hearts, and put some plain Heart Fair Isle charts at the end of the pattern for each size so you could have a go at designing your own Fair Isle pattern.
However you choose to make your Christmas Love Hearts, I hope you enjoy this pattern, and your house looks festive!
