Christmas Mousefits, Gift, Bauble & Snowman
This pattern is for the mouse and the Christmas gift, bauble and snowman outfits.
The pattern contains lots of photos to help you every step of the way. It is written in English, using American crochet terms. All of my patterns have been independently tested prior to publication.
You will need:
Yarn of your choice. Yarn weight doesn’t really matter - the size of your project will simply turn out bigger or smaller! I used King Cole Cherished DK yarn for my project and my finished mouse measures approximately 10cm tall. Please ensure that you use the same weight yarn to make both your mouse & the clothing to ensure that they will fit.
For the mouse (pages 4 - 8) you will need the following colours:
- Main mouse colour - I used pale grey (approx. 23.5m per mouse).
- Nose / ears / feet / tail - I used pale pink (approx. 13m per mouse).
For the Christmas gift outfit (pages 9 - 10) you will need the following colours:
- Red (approx. 20.5m).
- Yellow (approx. 6.5m).
For the bauble outfit (pages 11 - 12) you will need the following colours:
- Blue (approx. 24m).
- Silver (approx. 2.5m).
- White (approx. 1m).
For the snowman outfit (pages 13 - 15) you will need the following colours:
- White (approx. 32.5m).
- Brown (approx. 2.5m).
- Red (approx. 4m).
- Black (approx. 8.5m).
- Orange (approx. 2m).
Please Note - The amount of yarn used will vary according to yarn weight, hook size and stitch tension so these measurements are only a rough guide. The pattern refers to the colours that I used, however these can be substituted for colours of your choice.
You will also need:
- A suitable size hook for the yarn you have chosen - I used a 4mm hook.
- A pair of 6mm black safety eyes.
- Some toy stuffing.
- Some finer black yarn or thread for adding the details to the mouse’s face.
- Other tools you will need are a tapestry needle, some scissors, some pins and some stitch markers.
You are welcome to sell the items that you make using this pattern, but please do not sell / share the pattern itself.
Thank you.
