These Christmas baubles are made with yarn and toy filling. No need to buy baubles to cover so makes them inexpensive.

They look great hanging on a tree, placed in a bowl as a table centrepiece or just placed in the middle of the table. My favourite is to write each persons name on them with fabric paint and use them as place cards.

Let your imagination run wild with decorating ideas. Knit them in stripes, sew beads or sequins on them, or just fabric paint squiggles. Have fun.

They measure about 6cm (2 1/2”) across.

They are knitted on 2 needles with 8 ply (DK) yarn so even a beginner can make them. I chose the 8 ply yarn as that seems to be the most popular and they knit up very quickly.
