Christmas Placemat Crochet Pattern
This pattern is simple for even beginner crocheters. It comes with two options for appliques and works up fast. Great for Christmas gifts.

PATTERN NOTES

• Skill level – Easy. Pattern uses single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, Suzette stitch, cluster stitch.

• This crochet pattern is written in standard US TERMS and includes helpful photos.

• Size: Placemat measures approx. 18.5” wide and 13” high when finished.

• Gauge: 12 single crochet and 15 rows with 5.5mm hook

MATERIALS NEEDED

For one Placemat

• Yarn Main Colour A: 1 – 7 oz ball of Red #4 Worsted weight yarn (I used Red Heart Super Saver Red from Yarnspirations)

• Yarn Contrast Colours: B – White #4 Worsted weight yarn C – Green #4 Worsted weight yarn (You will not need full balls of these colours for one placemat)

• Crochet hook – 5.5 mm, 4.0 mm for appliques

• Darning needle

• Scissors
