This video shows how to make a buffalo plaid design using two different colored yarns in a technique called tapestry crochet. I’ve seen buffalo plaid usually created using 3 different colors of yarn (light, medium, and dark shade of same color), but since red and green mixed makes brown, I wanted to use the red and green yarns together instead of brown yarn. I love how it turned out!

For the pillow, we’ll make two pieces (front and back), add a pillow insert or stuffing, and then crochet the pieces together. Works up fairly quickly.
