Christmas Pocket Mouse
KNITTING PATTERN for a sweet little pocket-sized mouse (5” tall) together with a change of clothes.
The pattern includes how to make a Christmas party dress, Christmas jumper & trousers, a toy for the mouse and a little mouse bag.
Instructions written in English for you to make a perfect hand-made present for a child over 3 years old and includes lots of photos & handy hints to help you make your pocket mouse.
This pattern has been designed as a budget make & can be made from scraps of 2-ply & 4-ply yarn. If you don’t have any scrap, you can buy small quantities of yarn such as crewel yarn / mending yarn so you’re not paying for yarn you won’t use – I’ve kept to 2 colours for all of the outfits to help the yarn go as far as possible.
The patterns are a ‘next step’ for knitters - the sort of patterns I would have loved to have when I was 8 or 9 - a chance to practice more than knit & purl in quick to finish projects. The jumper is a raglan design, the trousers are shaped & the dress’ skirt & bodice are knitted as one then the sleeves sewn on.
Stitches used & Abbreviations
