This a modified pattern derived from my fair isle Santa pattern. It is a more simplified pattern making it easier to knit, It is knitted on 2mm / US 0 straight needles in the flat. It is a beginner /Intermediate pattern. Great if your practicing fair isle. The size of the decoration is 4.5 inches / 11.4cms. The gauge is 8sts to 10 rows equals 1 inch. The materials used are: King Cole Glitz Dk in Cherry Red and Diamond White. A small amount of Flesh / Pink wool for the face. Embroidery threads are used to embroider the face. The decoration is filled with polyester filling. A felt pompom. the button is(Optional). This project uses a small amount of yarn and you could knit Santa using left over wool . Size may differ. Ribbon or cord are required for hanging the decoration.
