Hi everyone! This Christmas ornament is a matching piece to one of my most popular designs, my Christmas Wreath Ornament, which I made a few years ago. Until now I am both astonished and grateful for all the attention that post has gained, and so for this year I decided to come up with a new ornament inspired by it. About this Santa ornament, I used a plastic ring that I purchased from a crafts store as a base to crochet Santa faces around it in a circle. You can swap for a bigger or smaller ring than the one I used easily and make as many faces as you want by allocating six double crochet stitches in the first round for each face. I hope you have fun with this quick and easy project.

Measurements:

• Ornament diameter: 4” (10 cm).
• Cord length: 9” (22 cm).

Materials

• Suggested yarn: D.M.C Happy Cotton, 0.7 oz (20 g), 47 yards (43 m), in the following colors and quantities: one red skein, one white skein, and one pink skein.

• Crochet Hook, size US E-4 (3.5 mm).

• One plastic ring, 2” (5 cm) in diameter, 1/4” (0.7 cm) thick.

• Beads, eight in red, 0.25” (0.6 cm) in diameter, and sixteen in black, 0.2” (0.5 cm) in diameter.

• Tapestry needle.
