Yarn:
- Small amounts of #3 light weight as follows:
A-White for body, wings & tail, B-Grey for wings, C-Black for wings and tail, D-Yellow for feet and beak, E & F-two colours of choice for life preserver.
For Holiday version – two colours of Red Heart Scrubby Sparkle for hat.
Samples are knit in Patons Astra or try Red Heart Scrubby Sparkle for a sparkly version!

Needles: Two 3.00mm straight, Two 3.00mm dpn

Stuffing, Cord or ribbon for hanging, Rope or cord for life preserver, Pompom for hat (optional)

Abbreviations:
St - Stitch
K - Knit
P - Purl
K2tog - Knit 2 sts together
P2tog - Purl 2 sts together
Inc - Increase 1 stitch by knitting or purling into the front & back of it
Tbl - Through back loop
Yo - Yarn over
Skp -Slip 1 stitch, Knit 1 stitch, pass the slipped stitch over the knit stitch.
Sl1 - Slip 1 st
Sl1 P1 psso - Slip 1 st, Purl 1 st, pass slipped st over Purl st
Sl1 K2tog psso - Slip 1 st, Knit 2 sts together, pass slipped st over Knit st
St st - Stocking Stitch
Dpn - Double pointed needles
