CHRISTMAS SOCKS 2024 are knitted top down on double pointed needles. The cast on is made with two colors, then you knit twisted rib and the pattern consists of squares and stripes. For the squares there is a chart. The socks are knitted with a heel flap and the toe is knitted with decreases and sewn together with Kitchener Stitch. This year’s Christmas socks does not have a traditional Christmas motif, but focuses on some of the Christmas colors and a slightly more graphic pattern. The patter can be used very well as a basic pattern or just by changing the colors you get socks with a different look.

Size: EU women sizes 37-38 (39-40)
US women sizes 6,5-7,5 (8,5-9,5)

Needles: double pointed needles 2,5 mm (US1,5) 3 mm (US2,5)

Gauge: 28 sts x 40 rows = 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 inches) stockinette stitch needles 2,5 mm (US1,5)

Measurements: The socks are measured unblocked.

Leg circumference: approximately 24 (26) cm 9.4” (10.2”)

Beware of that you need more yarn if you want to make the socks longer.
