This granny squares were designed may be 2 years ago but most of you know how it is with all the WIPs in our closet…As a child I always was watching Christmas movies for Santa and his helpers and all the characters remind me for those careless days. This is the biggest reason to make this granny squares collection.Because when we talk for winter’s holidays I remember the smell of gingerbread cookies prepared in the kitchen, the snowman in front of the door, the dear Santa and all his helpers…
For these granny squares I used Stylecraft Special DK and Paintbox Simply DK in colors – red, green,white,dark brown, beige and a bit orange and black. I used this yarn because it is light weight yarn but still gives this coziness to this project. You can use different yarn too in my videos I used cotton/acrylic yarn which I bought from our local store and still the granny squares turned out well. I used 4.5 mm / US – 7 crochet hook size, tapestry needle and pair of scissors…
