The stocking was worked in the round using 2 size US7 (4.5mm) 16” (40cm) circular needles.
Gauge: 20sts and 23rows = 4” (10cm) in Harlequin pattern worked in rounds.

The pattern provides two ways to create the toe. A standard sock toe and an Elf toe that curls and decorated with a jingle bell.

A couple of helpful videos are provided with the pattern:

1. Placing the waste yarn for the afterthought heel.
2. How to pick up the stitches, remove the waste yarn and work up the afterthought heel.

As are all my knitting patterns; this pattern has been test knit twice and both copy and tech edited for accuracy.
