Stockings are a staple for Christmas and no fireplace looks complete without a couple hanging off it in the hopes that St. Nicholas soon will be there!

This pattern uses a simple alternating stitch pattern to create a really pleasing texture.

As a finishing touch we added pom poms but you could use ribbons, bells or even cinnamon sticks! You can also personalise these so that there is no arguing come Christmas morning!
