Mix-It-Up Christmas Stocking Textured

The original pattern is needed to be able to make the stocking. These are the re-worked charts for BULKY WEIGHT YARN substituted for worsted weight yarn for a larger stocking.

Most of the motifs in the original pattern are made up of 2, 4 or 8 stitch repeats and need no adjustments. But, at the recommended total stitch count of 48 for bulky yarns modifications were necessary for the larger motifs: Pine Trees and Snowflake & Ladders.

The goat is simply a fun little placeholder until a photo is available for the bulky weight finished product. She is wearing a hand crafted muzzle made from local agave cactus twine (maguay) to keep her from munching on anything while she is being herded through the streets in Guatemala.
