The large Christmas stocking applique measures about 8.7 cm (3.4 in) high and 2.6 cm (1 in) wide. The small applique has a slightly different shape and measures about 6.5 cm (2.36 in) high and 4.8 cm (1.9 in) wide.

Each applique can be made with less than 10 rows and this is a perfect project for using up any extra yarn you have. The finished product can be used as decorations for Christmas cards or as ornaments for your Christmas tree. The pattern is written in US crochet abbreviations.
