I LOVE making the Dog Paws Christmas Stocking and the Cat Paws Stocking from Red Heart.

But, I like my Christmas Stockings with cuffs and these two patterns have none. As they say, “Necessity is the Mother of invention.” So I “invented” cuffs for my stockings.

There is no gauge or hook preferences. These depend on the size of the stocking, the yarn and hook you used. You will want to use comparable yarn and hook for your cuff.

I used scraps, or the remaining yarn from the stockings for my cuffs.
