Christmas Stocking Ornament
This small Christmas stocking with a hanging loop makes an attractive tree ornament.
Knit with small amounts of any DK or Sport weight yarn, these are perfect for using up remnants from larger projects. It is small, portable project that works up quickly.
This is also a great project for anyone who is wanting to learn to knit socks. This is a plain, full-featured sock using a traditional construction, complete with heel flap and gusset.
The pattern is written for doublepointed needles, but can be easily adapted for magic loop.
You can make a ribbed cuff instead of the garter one. Add stripes or small stranded designs with additional colors.
How many will you make for decorating or as gifts for friends?
