Christmas Stockings
These stockings are really easy to make and work up quickly. Great use of scraps and cheaper than gift bags!
You can change colours as often as you want, do stripes, tapestry crochet, etc.
The big red and green ones are worsted weight and you can get two of each from a red ball and a green ball. These are ‘useable’ stockings, small gifts and candy, etc fit in them. They are approx. 16” long and 5” wide.
The little red and green stocking is sport weight. It is ornamental. Good for the Tree, work, etc.
The green and gold are sports team colours and are sock yarn/fingering. They are quite small; also good for the Tree or to make many and make a garland. They are approx. 4” tall and 2” wide.
For proportions to look right, I have included reductions from the worsted weight pattern, for each of the smaller stockings. But feel free to change the proportions to your liking!
