I started to knit these christmas trees years ago but never had time or motivation to finish - until now.

The best part of this pattern is that it is okay not to follow it, it is okay to change it and it is okay to forget to decrease one or more stitches or to miss a row or two or knit an extra row.

“Mistakes” or changes just makes trees more unique.

To get different sizes choose smaller or bigger needles and thinner or thicker yarn.

Any leftover yarn will do.

Trees are knitted as socks on four (or five) needles.

Skill level: easy.

Add ornaments, buttons, ribbons, pompoms, bells whatever you have at home.

Use various colours to knit stripes.
