This pattern is worked in rows with no sewing on or up, it measures about 40cm from the base of the trunk to its top.

You will also need some cardboard to back it, ribbon to hang it from and most importantly chocolates. It can comfortably hold Minature Hero sized chocolates.

You need about 75g of the green, 25g of the brown and 75g of the red for the parcels, which are quite laborious to make, and 5g of gold for the star.

You can, if you so wish, embroider or surface crochet numbers on to the parcels, my embroidery is poor and there wasn’t really enough space for surface crochet so I’ve left them blank.
