Easy to slip over a toddler’s head, this bodice will add a special something to a favourite Christmas fabric to create a beautiful dress for a very special day. Two fat quarters is all that’s needed to make a simple gathered skirt, and the magic of baking paper allows a sewing machine to easily stitch bodice and skirt together.

This pattern is written in standard US terms and uses mainly simple stitches with the addition of FSC, FDC and a stitch of my own design.

It is crocheted using 8ply cotton/acrylic blend and 4.00mm hook.
