This is an easy and charming festive decoration, creating a Christmas tree that can be used as an individual ornament or make multiple trees to create your own bunting.

Using two different coloured chunky yarns, the tree is made in one colour with the tassel and hanging loop in contrasting colours.
Scraps of yarn are suitable for this project

Stitches use (English terminology):
Chain
Slip Stitch
Treble
Magic circle

Chart included for the tree and key includes English and American terms for the chart only

Depending on your speed, each tree, with tassel and hanging loop should take around 30 minutes to complete

Whilst the pattern is in a chunky wool I have made these in a variety of yarns and even wire. Just change the hook to suit the yarn or material you are using.
