Green yarn to crochet ruffles. You can use absolutely any yarn for this. The volume of ruffles depends on the thickness of the yarn. But if you are using too thick yarn, the hat may become too heavy. I used Coco Vita Cotton yarn, 100% cotton, 240 m / 50 g. I used 5 skeins;

Red yarn to crochet the star topper. I used the same yarn as for crocheting the base. I also used a little metalized yarn to decorate the topper, but you can do without it and use only red yarn.

Crochet hooks 2.5 and 4 mm;
