Christmas Tree Ornament
Take this pretty little knitting pattern for a spin, and deck your halls with hand-made CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS this winter season!!! Yes! If you’re like me, then you can’t start too soon to plan your holiday decor! Spreading cheer is what it’s all about, and this knitted tree ornament is just the thing to accomplish this important task!
The yarn suggested for this pattern has a gold sparkle worked into it that gives this ornament a lovely shine that captures the eye makes it stand out from the rest. This pattern is worked in the round, and is entirely seamless. The tree is worked from the top down, starting with the i-cord. This knitted ornament is very light, so even the thinner branches of your Christmas tree will be able to bare the wight of it with ease. The ornament has a knitted loop at the top that easily fits around pine needles and suspends the ornament securely on the branch. This ornament can easily be worked up in a single day, and makes a touching and thoughtful gift.
Size: The ornament measures 4” tall, and 5’’ across (at the widest point). The I-cord loop at the top of the tree adds an addition 3½” to the height of the ornament.
Knitting Needles: Set of US size 1 (2.25 mm) DPNS
Suggested Yarn: 1 skein of Solstice Gold, by Mosaic Moon (75% Superwash Merino Wool, 20% Nylon, 5% Gold Sparkle Fiber) 438 yards per skein. Color used in photos: Sherlocked
