I used cotton of a 8/4 ply and a 2,75 or a 3 mm hook
If you choose for a thicker yarn your placemats will be bigger

1 file for interlocking filet crochet technique
1 files for overlay mosaic technique
1 files for interlocking with solid stitches
1 file abbreviations and work instructions
1 file for interlocking LEFTHANDED

all files contain a chart and a written pattern

Although I check my patterns thoroughly, a typo might slip in
