This pattern is for an overlay mosaic crochet square of the Abominable Snowman, “Bumble”, inspired by the 1964 Rudolph clay-mation movie. This square can be used in other types of projects, such as blankets, pillows, satchel bags, table mats, etc.

Any yarn or hook will work, depending on the desired size of the finished square. I used yarn weight of 4 with a 5.5 hook, which creates a square of 13.5” x 13”.

This does have some special stitches & color switching, all explained in the written directions, as well as links to helpful videos.

This is a great way to use up scraps! The sample square took approx 1.5-1.75 oz of teal yarn, 1.5-1.75oz of white, .5 oz of blue, .25 or less oz of black & purple. Total weight of finished square was just under 4 oz.
