chromatic complement
Using the triaxial blend of Colour Theory, you’ll explore the relationship of colours to each other. The shape of this project is versatile, you can decide half way to stop at the trianglular version or continue onto rectangular version and use it as a scarf, a small throw or a baby blanket.
There are three options: the rectangular version with the large Colour Theory only, the rectangular version with the small Colour Theory and a neutral colour or the triangular version with the small Colour Theory only.
Only one square is worked at a time and depending on its position, a different cast on is used. The Colour Schematic tells you which three colours to work with, the Structure Schematic tells you which cast on to use and which order to work the squares. The third small square in each square is optional. You may choose to only work the borders and main squares. Up to you!
