This design is inspired by jellyfish.
I wanted to represent the ethereal shape of jellyfish by using a thin yarn, while also showcasing the diverse designs and textures of jellyfish by incorporating a mix of various knitted textures.

DESCRIPTION
It is knitted from the bottom up in the round. The brim combines rib stitch, herringbone stitch, and i-cord stitch. The rest of the beret incorporates lace stitches and cables. Before binding off, it is knitted in i-cord stitch again and lace stitch.

GAUGE
28 stitches x 36 rows = 10 cm, knitted in the round in stockinette stitch with 3 mm needles.

Tejeritas Bamboo Cotton Wool (70% merino, 15% bamboo, 15% cotton, fingering weight, 400m / 437yds per 100g skein)
Color: Pame, 1 skein.

NEEDLES

• 3mm / US 2½ circular needle, 40cm / 16″ length or DPNsand needles suitable for working small circumferences in the round.
• 2.5mm / US 1½ circular needle, 40cm / 16″ length.

Always use a needle size that will result in the correct gauge after blocking.

Este diseño está inspirado en una medusa, quise representar la forma vaporosa de las medusas usando un hilado delgado y a la vez representar los diferentes diseños y texturas de las medudas usando una mezcla de muchas texturas tejidas.

DESCRIPCIÓN
Se teje desde abajo hacia en redondo. La pretina combina punto elástico, punto herringbone y punto i-cord. El resto de la boina incorpora puntos calados y cruces. Antes de cerrar se teje en punto i-cord nuevamente y punto calado.

MUESTRA
28 pts x 36 vts = 10 cm, tejido en punto jersey en redondo con palillos de grosor 3 mm.
