“This is inspired by the stunning architecture of New York City, in particular I am fascinated by building arches of different depths,” says Emma Vining. “Beginning with an eyelet and garter stitch edge, the arches emerge from the cast-on edge and finish just below the neckline. The shoulders, upper body and sides of the garment are worked in reverse stocking stitch. The sweater sleeves have small arches at the wrist, then continue in reverse stocking stitch.”
