These Chirpy Chicks have only just hatched and are already eager to go play in all the spring sunshine that’s surely coming our way! One pattern, creates both a boy or a girl chick simply by changing the colorways of their cute little egg shell pants.

Pattern includes detailed instructions and clear photographs to make it easy for you to create a boy or girl chirpy chick or even a whole brood if the fancy takes you.

Worked entirely in Light Worsted Weight (Double Knitting/8 ply) yarns with a size C (2.75mm) crochet hook.

I have also used 9mm safety eyes.

Chicks measure approximately 7” (18cm) tall and 13” (33cm) around their tubby tummys.

Just vary the hook size and yarn gauge to create different sized chicks.
