This listing is for the PATTERN ONLY! The pdf includes instructions to make a super-soft stuffed hippo toy. This is the first in a line of ‘round’ animal patterns that will be available for purchase.

The hippo body is crochet in continuous rounds, using velvety soft yarn and a 5.5 mm hook. The teeth are made using a 4.0 mm hook and scrap worsted weight yarn.

I used Parfait yarn from Premier Yarns - purchased the larger 10.5 oz skein (574 yds), and that was enough to make almost 3 hippos.

The finished hippo is approximately 9 inches tall when finished.
