This is just a chonky Kakapo birb.

Materials
I used worsted/aran/4 weight yarn. However, this pattern would work with any size of yarn. I’d suggest going down in a hook size though (I used a 4.5mm hook).

• Body: Light green yarn
• Wings: dark green yarn
• Beak: scrap amounts of yellow yarn
• Nose: Scrap amount of pink yarn
• Feet: scrap amount of grey yarn
• Eyes: white and black felt OR safety eyes OR scrap amounts of black yarn
• Stuffing

• Darning/sewing needle
• Crochet hook; one size down from the hook size your yarn suggests
• Stitch markers
