The best thing about this towel is that it virtually folds itself! The finished product measures about 13” at the widest point and about 17” long when the button on the hanging loop is fastened. The hanging loop is sized to fit an average oven handle.

The main pattern is for the hanging towel with 3/4” button as pictured. Variations are included for making a flat towel (without the hanger) and for different sized buttons. Also included is a variation guide to adjust the location of the decorative stitching and the length of the hanging loop. Instructions are also included for any special stitches required to complete the pattern.

All instructions use American terminology and standard abbreviations.

Supplies needed:
about 5-6 oz (250-275 yds) worsted weight cotton yarn
size I-9 (5.5 mm) crochet hook
size H-8 (5.0 mm) crochet hook
yarn needle and/or traditional sewing needle for weaving in ends and attaching button
stitch markers or scraps of yarn for counting rows
