Suggested Yarn: The suggested yarn in the pattern comes in 3 ounce/204 yard skeins and the pattern calls for 4.5 ounces of the main color and 1 ounce each of the two accent colors. This works out to approximately 68 yards per ounce. If you use the suggested yarn, you will need two skeins of the main color and less than a full skein of the two accents.
Substitute Yarns: You will need about 315 yards of the main color and about 70 yards each of the two accent colors.
Additional Requirements: The pattern also calls for: a yarn needle, a split-ring stitch marker, polyester fiberfill stuffing, an embroidery needle, 1/2 yard of 3/4 inch wide ribbon, and embroidery floss in dark pink, dark brown, black, and white.
