This llama hat came bout because of a friends request to knit a hat with many llamas. She wanted a herd on her hat. Therefore, Sugar River Llamas designed this hat, with two rows of llamas.

Super warm chulla hat is self-lined with the same yarn as the main body of the hat.

Teh main color yarn for this hat uses 2 skeins of Sugar River Llamas sport weight yarn. In addition to the main color, approximately 100 yards of Sugar River Sport weight yarn was used for the contrasting color (one skein of yarn, or 1 ounce.)

The pattern includes a chart for each design element in the chulla hat.
