Knit an heirloom blanket for the special baby in your life. Although the pattern looks complex it is actually easy to knit and uses only knit and purl stitches. Suitable for a beginner with a little experience.

The blanket is reversible, exactly the same on both sides. There is no wrong side.

The blanket in the photo is small about 28 x 22 inches and is meant as a car seat blanket but it can easily be changed to any size. Directions to enlarge are included. You can also make an adult afghan.

The pattern calls for chunky weight yarn to make a thick very warm blanket. Works up quickly.
