This is a crochet PATTERN to make my Chunky Baby Football Cocoon.

This adorable football cocoon is the perfect gift to make for the tiniest football fan! It works up quickly and is so fun to make. It’s also a great photo prop for newborn pictures. Materials needed include:
2 skeins worsted weight yarn, brown (Note: I used 2 skeins because I held 2 strands together. You can use one skein and pull from both ends if you prefer)
1 skein worsted weight yarn, white
NOTE: One strand of bulky weight yarn may be used in place of 2 strands of worsted weight yearn. One Tester used 2 skeins Charisma Brand in main color and one in white
9 mm crochet hook
Yarn needle
scissors

GAUGE: Approx. 9 stitches (hdc) and 7 rows is 4”

Approximate finished measurements:

Cocoon: 14 ½” tall x 12 ½” wide when flat (25” in the round)

Hat: 5 ½” tall x 6 ¾” wide when flat
