Chunky Basketweave Dishcloth
If you’re looking for a simple, more chunky basketweave pattern, this might be just right for you. It’s a very simple knit (that also has an accompanying video tutorial) that produces a large weaving appearance. It’s designed for the beginner knitter in mind, as it only uses knit and purl. This is part 3 of the 6 part “Learn to Knit” series. The pdf consists of written directions, a chart and a checklist to help keep track of rows, as well as a link to the video tutorial.
This pattern calls for Medium #4 weight cotton yarn and uses less than a skein. However, if you’d like a more dense wash cloth, you can go down a needle size or two and will also use less yarn that way.
If you choose to make this project, can you please link to this pattern on your project page? I’d love to see what you make! Thank you!
