UPDATE: Now with a video tutorial for the ribbed brim!

This pattern was born from continually being irked that I had to buy two skeins of yarn to complete a similar kind of hat, but would only use a teensy tiny little bit of yarn from the second skein and then wouldn’t know what to do with the rest of it.

So, voila, a hat using just one skein of yarn, because I’m frugal like that!

PS - you are going to use this skein nearly to the very end. Don’t panic. Unless you crochet extremely loosely, you will win the yarn chicken game. :)
