Chunky Braided Poppy Stitch Headband by Over the Head Threads

Advanced Beginner. Must have knowledge of basic stitches. A new stitch will be explained, called the Poppy Stitch.

Size:
Pattern will cover sizes Newborn all the way up to Adult

Gauge:
7 rows = 4 inches

Materials:
5.0 or 5.5 mm hook.
Worsted weight yarn in color of choice (I used Christmas Green)
Tapestry or yarn needle for weaving in ends
Optional: button- I used a 1.5” genuine coconut button
