Finished measurements of hat (lying flat, pom not included): 9 inches tall x 7-3/4 inches wide

One size fits most adults

This hat is constructed with a simple chunky cable pattern, with the cable held in front of the work, on a background of purl stitches. It is truly a “one-skein-wonder”, needing less than 137 yards of a bulky weight yarn. This hat would be beautiful in a deep forest green, a navy blue, or any other color your heart desires….purple of course being my favorite, I have knit 2 of these in this plum-magenta color.

NOTE: A set of US 9 or 10.5 double-pointed needles are really helpful while working the decreases for the crown of the hat, to avoid any large gaps around the cables at the top of the hat.
