A cable knit blanket pattern based off of the Saxon Braid. My first cabled project, it went fairly quickly and was very easy to do. I decided to make this after I fell in love with a cable knit blanket at my local yarn store, and has quickly become a favorite by anyone who visits.

The pattern has four rows of the same cable series, so you can tweak it to make it as wide or narrow as you want. This blanket ends up being wide enough for a twin bed, and can be repeated to be as long as you’d like it to be.
