I designed this scarf to coordinate with my hand warmer design, and it was not as easy as it seemed, not just a flat version of the gloves. I wanted both sides to have the double cable pattern and tubular edges for a springy, reversible scarf without a front and back side. The center cables are offset slightly with more scarf stitches on the right edge than the left edge, which gives the scarf a detail of visual interest.
