Hi, thank you for looking! I love this design. It is super warm and cozy. The leaves are embossed to create a 3D effect, that provide texture and really help them stand out. If you’ve never done embossed effects before, it is really not hard and only means you increase a couple of extra stitches over a few rows then decrease them a few rows later. It is really easy and this is what makes the leaves “pop up” from the fabric.

I added a more interesting and different textured rib pattern for the button hole finish. If you love the half moon wooden buttons - you can find them at your local Joann’s store. They are a little pricey, but really finish the design wonderfully.
