The basketweave stitch gives a lovely texture that beautifully shows off variegated yarns and the multi layered flower adds a stylish touch. This pattern comes in both Adult and Child sizes, but is also easy to adjust for exactly the right fit.

Recommended for intermediate crocheters.

Tools & materials:

• Chunky yarn - I used James C Brett Marble Chunky
• 6mm crochet hook
• Elastic hair band/hair tie (optional)
• Decorative button, around 2cm in diameter.

Stitches used:

• Chain
• Double
• Treble
• Increase (treble twice into the same stitch)
• Decrease (treble two together)
• Front post treble
• Back post treble
