This pattern is available for free.

This makes up pretty fast with bulky yarn and size can be adjusted in the 5th or 6th row if you want it bigger or smaller. It takes just over 1 skein of yarn if you want the darker green in the braid, and then 1 skein of each of the other colors for trim, eyes and cheeks. I have made the cheeks in pink and yellow and that is cute as well.
