This chunky, cuddly cushion knits up in no time and uses simple techniques. I made mine with worsted yarn held double (about 600 yards). A super-bulky yarn that has a gauge of 3.5 st/inch should work too. There is an easy slip-stitch design that could be worked in any arrangement you like. The two halves of the cushion are knit separately, then joined by knitting together one loop from each side, and binding off at the same time. The edge is easy, attractive, and adds structure to the shape. Finished pieces are 13” square, and stretch to fit a 16” pillow form.
